OpenAgents for iPhone
OpenAgents for iPhone lets you chat with OpenAgents anywhere and send coding work to your computers. It's in beta on TestFlight: install TestFlight from the App Store, then open testflight.apple.com/join/dvQdns5B on your iPhone to install the app.
The app has four tabs along the bottom.
Chat
The Chat tab opens on a menu: your trainer name and level, a Next: line, Chat with OpenAgents, and starter questions such as Test a plugin, What's new, and Check a result.
- Chat with OpenAgents opens a new chat, ready to type. You don't need a computer or an account.
- Earlier chats are behind the menu button at the top left, newest first. A connected computer's own chats (the ones started in the Mac app or the Terminal) are listed there too, labelled with the computer. Open one and send a message, and the computer answers it.
- Under a reply you may see buttons: Run Coder on a computer, Connect a computer, a screen to open, or a command card with Run. Nothing happens until you tap one.
- The keyboard goes away when you tap outside it.
When a message is coding work and your computer is set to start Coder at once, Coder starts there without a tap, and the chat shows where it runs with Stop. See Coder.
Chats are text only: there's no attach button. Voice dictation, a model picker, and push notifications when a task finishes aren't built yet.
Verse
The globe tab puts you in the Grid, a shared world where other players walk around live. See The Verse.
Wallet
A bitcoin wallet on mainnet, with its keys on your phone. See Wallet.
Account
- Computers: your computers, each with a one-word status, and Connect a computer. See Manage computers.
- Tailnet: an optional Tailscale sign-in that lists your tailnet's devices.
- Identity keys: this phone's public key, and its secret key behind Reveal nsec.
- Trainer: your trainer card, level, and XP. See The Gym and XP.
- Playtest, Report a problem, and My reports.
- About this device (the app's version and build) and Changelog (what each build brought).
Long-press the tab bar on any screen to report a problem from where you are.
Android
The Android app has the same four tabs and runs the same code underneath. It is still in testing and isn't published; build it from source.
